- Organizational structure of business, functions and governance.
- Systems for accounting and reporting, controls, and compliance.
- Leading individuals and teams and managing them.
- Personal efficiency and communication

Overall Aim of Business and Technology
Introduce and comprehend the organizational structure, as well as the role of accounting and other key business functions in contributing to the effective, efficient, and ethical management and development of an organization and its people, as well as their interaction with technology, data, and information systems, knowledge, and comprehension of the organization and its environment.
Introduction to the Business and Technology (BT) Syllabus
The Business and Technology (BT/FBT) syllabus introduces students to the business, the environment in which the business and entities operate, the functions of the entities, and the role and responsibility of each individual in the business and entity.
People and systems make up a business. The business has its own environment, which includes social, economic, legal, and technological factors.
It has key stakeholders who are well aware of their rights and responsibilities in the company.
The syllabus then describes the structure and functions of an organization, with a focus on financial regulation and the key role of accounting in this process, particularly in financial reporting, control, assurance, and compliance.
The curriculum then introduces key issues in leadership, people, and management, such as effective individual and team behavior, motivation, and personal efficacy.
The final section of the syllabus looks at how accepted professional ethics and values should guide behavior at all levels of business.
Summary of changes to Business and Technology (BT/FBT)
ACCA reviews qualification syllabuses on a regular basis in order to fully meet the needs of stakeholders such as employers, students, regulatory and advisory bodies, and learning providers.
There are no additions, changes, or deletions to the syllabus from September 2019, when the exam was known as Accountant in Business.

The F1 ACCA exam will last two hours and will cover the entire syllabus.
